This privacy policy describes how Harriet Morris Jewellery collects and uses personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

Personal information is any data which can identify an individual, which would include your name, postal address and email address. This privacy policy does not apply to websites maintained by other companies or organisations which I am associated with. What Information do I collect?
I may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal data:
information provided as a result of a sale (name, email address, billing & delivery address)
information that you provide me for the purpose of subscribing to my email newsletter (name and email address)
any other information that you provide when communicating with me by any means.
If you purchase a product from me, your card information is not held by me, it is collected by a third-party payment processor Stripe, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

Your information will be collected in a number of ways; through sales and/or enquiries either in person, over the phone, via email, or through the website; sign-ups to the mailing list either in person or through the website.

Why your information is being collected and how it will be used?

I may use your personal information to: maintain and improve Harriet Morris Jewellery website; send you items purchased via the website; send statements and invoices to you, and collect payments from you; send you general communications; send you my email newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time); keep the website secure and prevent fraud; verify compliance with the terms and conditions governing the use of the website. If you give me feedback (in the form of testimonials), I may use it to improve my services and I may publish it online or offline to promote the business and my services. I will always ask for permission before publishing.

Where will your information be disclosed?

I will not disclose your personal information to any other party other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy and in the circumstances detailed below:

Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. I cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, sending such information is entirely at your own risk. In the event of a breach discovery I will make every effort to inform you as soon as possible and advise on what the consequences of such breach could be.

Your Rights

If you have previously agreed to me using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by emailing me at info@harrietmorrisjewellery.com I will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to external third parties, except as provided in this privacy policy. You may request details of personal information that I hold about you under the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. If you believe that any information held on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email me as soon as possible at the above address. I will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Returns Policy

f you are not satisfied with your purchase we will be happy to offer you a refund or exchange. To return your goods, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order and the items must be returned to us within 30 days of receiving your order. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Your right to a refund, exchange or credit is subject to:

- The jewellery remaining unworn, undamaged and in it’s original packaging
- Harriet Morris receiving notification that you wish to return your order within 14 days and your goods being returned within 30 days of receipt.

To arrange a return please email info@harrietmorrisjewellery.com, stating your name, details of the item, and reason for the return and whether you would like an exchange or a refund. All items must be returned in an unused condition in the original packaging and with proof of purchase.

You are responsible for the safe return of the item, therefore I recommend you use a delivery service that insures the full cost of the items. 

The cost of returning the item is your responsibility unless the item has been sent in error or is faulty. Any item that has been specially commissioned or personalised cannot be refunded unless faulty.

Terms of Service

Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Once you have made your order and we have it registered, you will receive an acceptance email sent to the address you provided at checkout. Another email will be sent upon dispatch.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if:
1. We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
2. We cannot deliver to your area; or
3. One or more of the items you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information.

If we do cancel your order we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card within 7 days. We shall not be obliged to offer any additional compensation.

Taxes & Duties

For those clients located outside of the UK, prices will exclude all relevant import duties and sales taxes. As the recipient of the order, you will be required to pay these duties and taxes directly to our courier to release your order from customs.
